Homeschool desks project →
Summer’s moving into the final stages, and I have some desks to make before we start our official year.  I found these plans at Ana White’s site, so I think I’ll mod ‘em down and knock three of them out in the next few weeks.  When Connor’s godmother commented that I was crazy for not simply buying desks, the little dude came quickly to my defense stating,...

Transformers, the Movie (s) suck (s)
Someone will call me out for being the bad guy, Someone will call me out for being anti-Hollywood or anti-American or anti-establishment …arianism or anti-you-can-think or anti-fucking-young, but they suck — every one of them — every Transformers movies sucks everything, the worst, donkeys, pillars, sausage, tombstones… I...

The Strange Tale of Frances Hope Hough
Three weeks ago, my friend Jos was driving to work when she noticed a dog on the side of the road.  It was raining, 26 degrees, and the dog was lying in six inches of standing water.  She stopped, assuming the animal had been hit by a car and that she would drop it by the vet as a mercy, but upon hearing a voice, the dog slowly made its way to Jos’s car.  She took her home. I got a...
